THE BOURBON TRAIL!!
Today we celebrate the 236th birthday of our GM’s other favorite beverage: BOURBON! On November 8th, 1789, Elijah Craig first distilled whiskey from corn in Bourbon County, Virginia (which is now in modern-day Kentucky). Come dressed as your favorite bourbon barrel! Or don’t, I’m not your mother. Don’t like it? Fine, celebrate the 1,633rd anniversary of when Emperor Theodosius declared Christianity as the state religion, ya prude. Dress as your favorite martyr, I don’t care because I’ll be busy sipping BOURBON!
Side note: arrive early and visit the College Park Aviation museum before you run! Admission is $5. Probably not dog friendly though.

On Día de los Muertos, run with spirits and honor the dead—bring your brightest colors and your thirst for life (and beer). We’ll wander between worlds, chasing flour through the land of the living and the slightly undead/hungover.
We’ll have a Día de los Muertos ofrenda (altar) 🕯️ at end circle to honor hashers who’ve passed. Bring a photo of a hasher no longer with us, plus either their favorite food, drink, or hobby memorabilia (beer and hab are basically required sacraments anyway). No planned speeches, just a space for them to circle up with us again. 💐
