Theme: Pirate’s Day at the Renaissance Faire. AARGH!! Dress to cum aboard or be boarded! Pirate and Renn Faire attire! Parrots optional.
Where: Revel Grove Parking Lot, 1781 Crownsville Road, Crownsville, MD.
Beginning Circle Location: Look for wankers next to the handicap parking area and the port-a-loos. We won’t be the funny looking ones this time!
Hares: For Sale or Rent, Doc Strangelove, Guernsey Gripper, and French Toasted
How Much: $6.00 US. assorted beverages and a groaning board of food
Trail Description: A to A. Shiggy level low, relatively dry trail with a few marshy areas. A couple of very shallow streams with rocks and logs as stepping stones. Runner’s possibility of some brambles or PI: Not much but come prepared. Bag vehicle provided if you’d like to change at pavilion or walk back to your car before entering faire. Flashlights are great if stay till closing.
Dog Friendly Factor: Leashed on trail and at end. Not in faire.
Stroller Friendly Factor: WALKER’S TRAIL has some tough sections. There is a workaround.

From the Washington, D.C. Beltway:
East on Rt 50 to EXIT 23, Parole [this is exit for Annapolis Mall]
RIGHT at end of ramp. Continue straight on Rt 178, General’s Highway. Do NOT turn onto Defense Highway, Rt 450 – you will be stuck in traffic forever)
Go past the mall, fair grounds and Ram’s Head Tavern, in less than one mile past tavern, LEFT on Honeysuckle Lane.
LEFT on Crownsville Road. LEFT into the faire grounds.
From Baltimore , MD
Take I-95 South to the Baltimore Beltway (I-695).
Follow the Beltway South to Exit 4 (Route 3 and I-97 South). Stay left on I-97 South to Annapolis as it splits from Route 3.
Take Exit 5 from I-97 (Route 178 to Crownsville).
Turn right at the third light onto Crownsville Road. (Crownsville State Hospital is at the intersection and you can only turn right.) Follow Crownsville Road for 1-1/2 miles and the Festival entrance is on left.
